Amanda & Kenny | Elegant White and Green Floral Fall Wedding with Blue Accents at Pear Tree Estate in Champaign, IL

Amanda and Kenny’s fall wedding at Pear Tree Estate was truly a one-of-a-kind, unforgettable event. With the bride being a professional wedding planner, it’s no surprise that all the stops were pulled to make this day come straight out of a fairytale. The couple settled on crisp white florals with a contemporary twist of lime green and accents of blue throughout the décor, complementing the venue’s bright and airy architecture.

Amanda’s medium-sized bouquet was packed with our favorite luxurious blooms, including Playa Blanca roses, locally grown dahlias, lisianthus, ranunculus, scabiosa, delicate orlaya, and textural larkspur. It was wrapped in a dusty blue satin ribbon that matched her bridal party’s gowns. Kenny, along with the rest of the important men, wore simple, single-stem ranunculus boutonnieres to complete their look.

A statement piece in the chapel foyer, atop an elegant white urn, was only a foretaste of the immense blooms that awaited guests inside the ceremony space. Guests entered under a custom gold doorway arch designed with modern, asymmetrical sprays of rich greens, pockets of white blooms, and romantic hanging green amaranth. Slightly ahead, at the back of the pews, stood two matching urns topped with arrangements that led to the highlight piece of the ceremony. Two steps led to a raised circular altar edged with a floral nest, surrounding the couple in a lush white meadow as they exchanged vows. Designed to come apart, the nest pieces were strategically moved around the reception space, while the foyer arrangement was set behind the bar.

Minimal color allowed the design elements to effortlessly flow into the reception space, complementing dusty blue and navy linen accents. The nest pieces sat behind the head table, on the edge of the band stage, and between tables, scattering mini gardens around every corner. The large pieces accompanied a variety of smaller table arrangements in compotes and petite shallow bowls, warmly backlit with an abundance of dancing candles and lamps atop blue plain and floral-patterned linens. With every detail meticulously planned, it’s no surprise we designed multiple floral accent pieces to sit atop the bar and hang on the seating chart. The result was a sophisticated, elegant, and organic atmosphere that showcased an artful floral design around every corner.
