I typically only book one wedding a day, so the calendar fills quickly.
I would love to welcome you to our beautiful studio for a consultation. Time spent during a consultation allows us to get to know each other a bit, help you understand our creative process, talk about your wedding plans, and discuss your floral needs in detail. It is helpful to have your budget, color scheme, ceremony and reception locations, possible floor plans and a few inspiration pictures ready for our meeting. If you haven’t yet found your floral inspiration, don't worry. I can help with that too! Meeting at the studio allows us to look at our rental inventory, mock up tablescapes and get creative. After our meeting, I will create a detailed custom proposal with pricing specific to your event.
After receiving your proposal, review all the gorgeous details. I’m happy to answer any questions, make additional suggestions or needed adjustments at this time. When you are ready to book, a retainer payment and contract signature lock in your event on my calendar. Welcome to the J.Blu Design Family!
4: the planning continues
Your vision may change and evolve as you get farther along in your planning. That is completely expected, and I will be fully available to make changes as needed. While I receive numerous inquiries a year, I am selective about the weddings I book to allow each client the full attention they deserve. Details matter, and I love working with you and your vendor team. Don’t hesitate to reach out for advice, to add additional items, or make edits to what we originally planned. I’m here to help!
Six weeks prior to your wedding date, I will send the most recent version of your floral order. This is when we start making final adjustments, confirm guest table counts, add the extra details that make J.Blu weddings special, and sign off on your order. Please note that final payment is made thirty days before the wedding. I will then organize and submit a flower order to my select group of floral buyers and local flower farmers to get the best, most premium blooms.
6: the vision comes alive
The week of the wedding, flowers arrive in the studio typically on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I’ll be sure to text you pictures along the way and share some behind-the-scenes peeks on social media. The day of the wedding, our team will take care of getting personal flowers delivered to your doorstep as well as floral set up at the ceremony and reception sites. My team truly loves what they do and are thrilled to make your day as special as you have envisioned it.
J.Blu Design is a full service wedding and event floral studio serving the Central Illinois market. I offer custom floral bouquets, installations, and table décor for large scale events with personal attention and creative detail. I have a vast rental inventory of vases, containers, candle holders and stands to compliment any look.

During our meeting, we will discuss style, color scheme, shape, flower varieties, seasonality, and budget. It is important to me to learn about your personal style, likes, and dislikes to create designs that speak to you and your guests. A proposal outlining flower choices and estimated prices will be sent after our consultation.
Each event is custom priced as floral selection, size of arrangements, season and number of items needed is unique to each client. Below are price ranges for popular items. Minimum investment of $3000 is required.
