This time of year in the Midwest, when you say white, we think cold and snow. Baylee and Dylan’s wedding was far from the frigid season we are currently in but instead their creamy white and neutral wedding paired with sage greens brought warmth and romance to an already beautiful late spring day. Baylee’s large, textural bouquet was filled with ivory blooms of lush playa blanca roses, seasonal peonies, orlaya, spray roses, calcynia, and waxflower with neutral elements of hypericum berry, bunny tail, and feathery grass plumes for a boho touch and contrasting trailing eucalyptus greens. Bridesmaids held petite versions of the same bouquet that were highlighted against long, sage green dresses. Dylan kept his look sleek and simple with a traditional style spray rose boutonniere pinned onto a classic black tuxedo.
Pear Tree Estate’s large windows set the perfect backdrop for a sunlit gold circular ceremony arbor dressed with a trio of warm textural arrangements of roses, stock, and carnations with deep greens and billowing pampas grass. This statement piece pulled double duty during the reception as a head table backdrop that framed the couple for the rest of the evening. Along with the repurposed ceremony arbor, the head table farmhouse tables were designed with an edge runner of greens and complimenting simple clear glass pillar candles and votives in gold holders to accompany the wedding party. The remainder of round guest tables were covered in smooth white linens and topped with a pillar candle grouping over a bed of gunni, feather, and silver dollar eucalyptus greenery paired with white rose heads and votives in unique gold globe holders to add warmth and romance.
As this winter season lingers on, we are lucky to get to look back on a glimpse of what’s to come when spring turns the corner. We see more weddings like Baylee and Dylan’s classic neutral and green color palette coming to us in the near future and we can’t wait for the studio to be filled with fresh blooms once again. Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs.!
“Julie was an absolute pleasure to work with! We really didn’t know where to start when it came to flowers for our wedding. She was so knowledgeable and creative when helping us design our perfect day. Her communication was amazing, which was super helpful with us planning a wedding out of state. Planning a wedding can be very stressful and time consuming, but I never had any worries working with her! Our floral arrangements truly blew us away and we couldn’t have been happier. Thank you so much for everything!”
