After a long winter, we eased our way into the new wedding season with a minimalist look of stark white and greenery against sleek black and silver accents. Paige and Sean’s black tie, Spring wedding was the definition of less is more while still making an impact. Paige’s lush bouquet featured bright white blooms of playa blanca roses, tulips, ranunculus, lisianthus, and stock with textural accents of delicate waxflower and limonium with trailing huckleberry, ruscus, and eucalyptus greenery all hand-tied together with white silk ribbon. Bridesmaids held smaller bouquets composed of a variety of greens-only to compliment the bride and pop off their polished black gowns as they accompanied the couple at the altar.
One tip we always suggest in a reception space, especially one as vast as Pear Tree’s, is to add height to a select few of your guest table centerpieces that coordinate with low pieces on adjacent tables. We keep a collection of different height tall stands in our inventory that are popular options for both ceremony and reception to add dimension to your wedding space. For Paige and Sean, we topped silver stands with large greenery arrangements with contrasting bright white flowers of hydrangea, roses, and stock. We covered the base of these arrangements with a romantic pillar candle trio in a bed of greens all atop luxurious black linens. These bases matched the design of the rest of the centerpieces in the reception area for one cohesive, minimalist, elegant design.
The first wedding of the year always feels especially meaningful to us as it sets the tone for everything that follows and inspires joy and anticipation for the season ahead. Paige and Sean’s special day was no exception and we look forward to sharing more from all the couples we were honored to design for over the course of the 2025 year.
