Suzanne & Nick | White + Blush Romantic Fall Wedding at Pear Tree Estate in Champaign, IL

Suzanne and Nick’s florals focused on white and blush blooms to compliment the couples navy and olive green color palette, perfect for their September wedding as Illinois transitioned from summer to fall. For Suzanne, we designed a large and lush bouquet filled with white playa blanca roses, ranunculus, lisianthus, stock, and spray roses with just the slightest touch of blush brought out from quicksand roses. We added lots of draping ruscus and eucalyptus greenery to the bridal and maids bouquets to bring in the olive green color and add the romantic element over sleek black dresses. A classic white ranunculus boutonniere adorned Nick’s stand-out navy suit with matching boutonnieres made for his groomsmen in contrasting grey suits. We of course had to create a piece for the smallest member of the wedding party, the bride’s pug, in the form of a custom eucalyptus and ruscus greenery collar tied with a white ribbon to match his owner.

Pear Tree Estate’s long ceremony aisle was accentuated with a large wooden beam hung above, topped with pillar candles and romantic trailing greenery over the edge. The couple was met at the altar with two symetrical floral arrangements filled with white and light blush roses, stock, spray roses, and lisianthus with an abundance of eucalyptus greenery atop tall silver stands to frame Suzanne and Nick as they exchanged vows. The tall stand pieces were repurposed after the ceremony to sit either side of the sweetheart table to enjoy the rest of the evening.

Guests were welcomed into the reception space with a stunning display of foyer wall boxes filled with lush blooms and greenery to pair with the seating chart table décor. The long farmhouse table in front of the floral wall was filled with green and navy guest seating signs as well as touches of blooms scattered in clear, elegant bud vases and votive candles. Round reception tables were filled to the brim with pizza platters to hold the mouth watering creations from Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria which we paired with a few complimenting bud vases and bud vases to fill the empty spaces and add a touch of romantic glow. The last blooms of the night were set aside to top the delicious and unique wedding bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes.

Suzanne and Nick celebrated a beautiful late summer wedding day on the ground of Pear Tree Estate with an atmosphere that boasted classic and romantic elegance. We love looking back at these photos and seeing the contagious smiles that the bride and groom both wore on their special day.
