Venue Feature | Elegant White and Gold Wedding Styled Shoot at Haven on the Farm in Peoria, IL

We turned up the heat for this all white, glam styled shoot with gold accents. We love this glamorous look, especially the lush bouquet of playa roses, double lily, lisianthus and calla lily that evokes thoughts of Old Hollywood. We paired the bridal bouquet with a classic white spray rose boutonniere with touches of lisianthus and ruscus greenery to pop off the groom’s sophisticated black tuxedo. A perfect combination for a luxurious outdoor wedding.

A new trend is coming on scene, trading traditional arches and arbors for dual floral pillars. These ceremony pillars were filled with white and cream blooms of lush playa blanca roses, lisianthus, lilies, carnations, and hydrangea with autumn olive, salal, and Italian ruscus greenery to create an organic broken arch shape that framed the couple for their wedding vows.

Leading into the reception space, a vintage, gold rimmed mirror was repurposed as a beautiful seating chart paired with two symmetrical floral arrangements in unique compote bowls. We designed these pieces with the same white blooms but also added in trailing white amaranthus and minimal greenery to keep the look clean and sophisticated. Fresh flower arrangements are also a perfect addition to compliment any dessert table. In this case, we placed one arrangement on either side of a luxurious five-tier, white and gold wedding cake.

We may have battled a rainy day for this styled photoshoot, but it’s proof again that professional wedding vendors are worth their weight in gold. When things don’t go quite as planned, having a vendor team with experience and a bag full of tricks can put your mind at ease! We think we will be seeing a lot more of these trends popping up in the near future and are excited to design more!
