November 2023
We love a couple who fully embraces color! Mollie and Justin’s vibrant color scheme was the perfect end to our 2023 wedding season. The couple chose bright fuschia and orange blooms featuring orange crush and free spirit roses, pincushion protea, carnations, and stock with pops of yellow craspedia and safflower with a few toned down flowers of textural mums, kangaroo paw and astilbe to round out the floral design. For Mollie and her red-orange clad maids, we designed lush round bouquets packed full of fun with light touches of ruscus greenery for added depth and contrast. Mothers and Grandmothers equally stunned with custom gold cuff corsages of coordinating bright and textural blooms to be incorporated with the wedding party.
Guests were welcomed into the courtyard at The Cannery by a rustic wooden welcome sign adorned with a bright floral spray with draping greenery leading way to the ceremony space. Dark ceremony chairs were accented with contrasting rose clusters tied with orange ribbon to run the length of the aisle. The wedding party was met with a spectacular wooden arbor at the altar with a large corner floral arrangement bursting with colorful blooms and trailing greenery to accompany the bride and groom as they exchanged vows. With the white washed brick wall backdrop, The Cannery shines on another level with some vibrant color!
The chilly fall celebration then moved to The Cannery’s cozy indoor reception space for the remainder of the evening with the arbor moving as well to behind the head table which was paired with a greenery runner and bouquets laid down on top. The remaining round guest tables glowed with warm candlelight with either a trio of romantic floating candles or a grouping of colorful taper candles in gold holders each over a base of greens with touches of featured bloomed and votives tucked in. A simple bud vase arrangement grouping with additional votive candles topped the last guest table design. We lastly added fresh rose, craspedia, and mum blooms with ruscus greenery to the couples single tiered white textured wedding cake atop a gold platter to compliment a gold name wedding topper.
And with that, our 2023 wedding season comes to an end! It has been an absolutely wonderful year designing for all the J.Blu couples and we can’t wait to see what new inspiration comes our way in the new year. Mollie and Justin already have us dreaming of fall weddings once again filled with fun vibrant color. Congratulations to our final couple of 2023, Mr. and Mrs. Coker!
